Under "Important notes" it states: "Sealed AC output: This Power Station is supplied in accordance with Swiss standards, which is why only one AC socket is available". The 2 outlets are very different, one grid-connected, the other grid-independent (emergency power). What exactly does the sentence above mean?
What you guys describe below is how I expect the product should work. That would be great.
But I still don't understand the note about sealing on the Galaxus product page. Can anyone help?
The grid-connected plug is used to feed power into the house/apartment. A device can be operated at the mains-independent socket (e.g. charger for mobile, lamp, alarm clock or anything else that requires 230 V operating voltage.
It is a Schuko EU socket up to 1000W. I get up to 800w in the mains. The mains plug is de-energised because it is not connected to the mains and the 1000W Schuko socket is an emergency power supply if the battery is sufficient.
A Shuko socket is installed which supplies 1000W independent of the mains, this is what is meant by emergency power.
The feed into the domestic grid is limited to 600W/h and only works when the plug is plugged into the domestic grid, otherwise the plug is currentless.
