Two questions: Has anyone tried this with Linux (Ubuntu) and does it work with the Nikon Z50?

I use it with Debian, it works fine, then Ubuntu should be no problem. I use it with a Canon EOS 450D.

It works for me with Linux (Arch) and Canon G7X Mark III. The camera needs a clean HDMI output signal.
