The Sonos Move connected to the PC via Bluetoth has a delay of up to 5 seconds. This is criticised in the Sonos forums (and rightly so for such an expensive device). Line-in adapters are supposed to remedy this, but I don't trust them. How is this supposed to work and who has already done this and can help?
I have been in contact with Sonos and it is indeed the case. The Line In function was only introduced with the Sonos Move 2. I therefore advise against buying it. If you want to game, YT or stream on your PC with this device, you'll be endlessly annoyed because it takes up to 5 seconds for the sound to come on during interruptions, such as breaks to pee, but YT or the stream is already running and you'll miss the part. For me, this is a complete misconstruction, because if Bluetooth doesn't work like this, then you can buy better things for the price of this device (even from Sonos). And the improvement in the Move 2 indicates that we Move buyers had to be held out as guinea pigs. Another nasty thing after the Sonos app debacle in 2024.
