The most important question is "How much energy does this appliance use?" You try to save energy and you don't know how much you're using by adding an appliance. It's a bit ridiculous.

The power consumption of a digital timer is negligible (about 1-2W) and should be accepted if you want to save electricity in this way.

- Mains voltage: 230V/50Hz
