Terratec USB-BOX for VHS video digitization

The installation of the Grabster AV 350 MX in Windows 10 seems to me to be anything but problem-free. I have downloaded the driver software (no more optical drive) and installed it, but the Grabster is not found does not exist for my computer, no entry in the device manager and also no error message - simply nothing, nada. A support enquiry showed that Terratec had been sold and I could not be helped properly. Does anyone here have any advice?
Hello Stranger
I have gone through the following ordeal with AV 300 and AV350.
Purchased AV300; is not recognised. Response from Terratec: No longer compatible with the latest Windows 10 version. Claimed right of return and ordered AV350. Could be installed on both my PC and laptop without any problems. Digitising two VHS tapes worked perfectly. Then I wanted to edit the third and neither the PC nor the laptop suddenly recognised the device. De- and re-installation with and without the DVD were unsuccessful. Answer from Terratec: Probably defective. Claimed right of return (warranty). Instead of a replacement, I was able to order another more expensive product, Elgato Video Capture, for an additional charge and, lo and behold, everything worked like clockwork.
Conclusion: Apparently the two Terratec devices are no longer compatible with the latest Windows 10 versions.
