Question about Brother MFC-L8390CDW

The HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP 4302fdw only scans at 300 DPI via the ADF. What about the Brother MFC-L8390CDW - does it actually support 600 DPI via the ADF? In addition, the HP does not have an OCR function. Does the Brother offer an integrated OCR option so that a searchable PDF is transferred directly to the PC?
