The description of the tablet says that you can expand the storage capacity by 128 gb with a micro-sd card. Micro-sd cards are also available with more memory. Is it really the case that you can only use a maximum of 128 gb here? And if so, why? I'm not a technology guru, but somehow I don't understand the logic, since the memory is on the card and not on the tablet...

You can probably insert a larger memory card, but the tablet will probably only be able to read the first 128GB of it. I have not tried it. I would just put in a 128GB card. Then you can be sure that it will work and you won't pay for extra memory that you won't be able to use.

The maximum size of the memory card that can be used depends on how many bits are used to address the storage medium. The data is on the memory card, but the tablet cannot address it. Imagine you have 200 drawers, numbered from 0 to 199, but your brain is only smart enough for two-digit numbers. So you can only query the contents of the first 100 drawers and you are too stupid for the rest.
Maybe it's a strange comparison, but I can't think of a better one.
