The basic map that is on it is sufficient for riding here in Switzerland. That is, on the road with a road bike. Or do you need another one? LG

From my point of view, it is completely sufficient. The base map is also very detailed today. Otherwise, there is the Swiss TOPO 50k for rather little money (promotion approx. CHF 50). It's good for following routes. I haven't needed the feature of navigating to a specific address with the Garmin for at least the last 10 years.
