Super USB stick with lots of storage space and robust. I have several of them in use. But why does it get very hot very quickly?

All USB sticks get hot very quickly. You can avoid this by using an adapter plug, which helps a little. Unfortunately, you can't prevent it completely. It is also normal for small USB sticks made of metal to get hot very quickly when they are plugged directly into a notebook. The smaller the USB stick, the hotter it gets.
