Regarding the dual SIM slot: it says you can use the "2nd SIM instead of a micro SD". Does that mean that you can also insert an SD? Until now, you had to choose EITHER a model with an SD slot OR one with a 2nd SIM slot when buying from Samsung. It was not possible to insert a SIM or SD card alternately. But it reads here as if this is now possible with the Note 8. Right?

Yes, the device has a so-called hybrid slot, i.e. you can insert a microSD card (max 256 GB) or a second nano-SIM card. Unfortunately not both together
