Question about scanning: Does this machine have the single-pass scanner built in, which scans the front and back in a single pass? Or does the scanner need two passes of the paper, like the HPs, if you want to scan both sides? Thank you.

According to the manufacturer (https://www.brother.com.au/monochrome...), both sides are scanned in one pass.
