Picked up my new LG 43UD79-B yesterday evening and unpacked it at home with great anticipation: 1. german power cable ! 2. no USB-C to USB-C cable from LG in the scope of delivery 3. no picture connection to the new Macbook pro 16 inch with the original Apple USB-C to USB-C cable. The macbook is charged! I was able to watch a Blue Ray film via HDMI. At least. But that's not the real purpose for which I bought this monitor. Can someone please give me a reliable tip on which USB-C to USB-C cable will work for this connection? I have read that even cables costing 89 CHF have not worked. I want to avoid having to buy and try my way through the whole digitec range first. Thanks for quick help and best regards.
I had no problems at all with the "Delock Thunderbolt 3 Cable (C - C, 2m, 3.1)" as well as with the "Club 3D USB 3.1 (C - C, 0.80m, 3.1)".
For this, the Apple Thunderbolt 3 (C - C, 0.80m, 3.1) is a proper cable. I use it with the Macbook and this display via USBC 60 Hz. It was recommended to me by Digitec customer service at the time.
