One review says that the printer has neither AirPrint nor WLAN. Is this really the case? Thank you for your feedback!
This is correct. The printer only has an Ethernet connection to the network. For WLAN, for example, you need the 4302fdw. The w stands for wireless. The n probably stands for network (without wireless).
The printer has no WLAN, but it supports Airprint. This means printing from iOS is possible (see data sheet: https://objects.icecat.biz/objects... ).
Thank you very much for the differentiated answers!
Hi, HP has made many variants for this model. Have a close look at the datasheet direcly on HP site and compare the variants (fdn/fdw/dn ...). Mine doesn't have wireless by choice but using air print through my home wifi. Also have look to sister series such as 42xx. All models 43xx have an Ethernet port. dw, fdw models have Wifi
I am very satisfied with it, only issue is the double side scan quality from feeder which is poor due to a plastic film covering the down scanner glass for sheet sliding purpose. To me its compact size, excellent print quality and good quality for flatbed or single side feeder scanning highly compensate the double-sided issue that can be quite easily fixed if ready to loose warranty.
