Corsair Hydro X Series XD3 RGB
On the website directly from Corsair I see that it still has a few things in the scope of delivery: - 120mm and 140mm fan bracket - ATX jumper bridge - G1/4'' temperature sensor - 3x G1/4'' stop plugs - Moounting screws Are all these things included here? Since I don't care about RGB, would it be possible to use this Pump/Res combo without an iCue Commander Pro? So just: Molex: Power for pump 4-Pin: Control pump 2-pin: Temperature sensor control?
The scope of delivery is also the same for us. We asked about the other request and received the following answer:
Connecting it would theoretically be possible, but not recommended. Without the Commander Pro, the other settings besides RGB (such as the rotation speed of the fans) cannot be automatically controlled and configured via the iCUE software. This would have to be adjusted manually.
Yes. Both 120mm and 140mm brackets are included, ATX jumper bridge, temperature sensor and the stop plugs.
You can use it without iCue Commander Pro, of course. But here are the drawbacks:
1. Monitoring the coolant temperature on M/B is impossible.
2. Setting the pump speed relative to coolant temperature will not be possible.
Only if you have another controller that can monitor the temperature of the coolant sensor and set the RPM of the pump.
You can use the pump directly on the M/B FAN pin heads which are specially designed for pumps. Most of the new M/B they have such pin heads.
