Gigaset C430A Trio
Question about C430A Trio - 185029
My telephone connection is in a nonsensical place under the sofa. So I have to leave the base station there and can't use it. Do I need this station (I assume it's the biggest of the three?) for the answering machine, or is the answering machine answerable on the handset and therefore not essential to have the main base within reach? Thanks!
The cable is nice and long, so you should be able to place the console next to the sofa. If that's not enough, longer standard telephone cables are available at a reasonable price.
You can operate the answering machine from the handset, this is no problem. However, you have an indication on the base station that someone has spoken and this probably stands out more than on the handset (red light flashes).
The base station is of course also needed to charge the handset. But of course you can also do this with the other stations.
