Question about Club 3D CAC-1331

My PC monitor has a resolution of 3440 x 1440 pixels (100 Hz). The description only says what the maximum supported resolution is. Are there any restrictions for resolutions below this or is this resolution possible without any problems?

It should just about work out, but I advise against using such an old standard in 2020 if at all possible.
In addition to this, my experience with this adapter has been poor. Despite the theoretical compatibility with my 1440p 144Hz monitor, I had really nasty micro-stutters. I also tried it on another monitor. Since my monitor only has full bandwidth via DP, I had to resort to such a solution and was disappointed. Whether this was due to the product itself or some other factor, I can't say. Fortunately, my laptop still has a USB Type-C port with DP 1.4 functionality. The matching Type-C to DP cable solved my problems.
