My PC draws a maximum of 2 watts when it is switched off. In order for the slave sockets to switch off, however, I have to turn the rotary control for the switching threshold up to approx. 90%. This in turn causes the relay in the power strip to switch on and off all the time when the PC is running in idle. This then gives a very annoying clacking sound every second. In any case, the specification of the switching threshold (8 W to 80 W) is not correct, because then I could set the regulator all the way down and wouldn't have any problems with it. Now the question is this normal because the thing just sucks or is it a defect?
I would measure the effective power consumption, it probably fluctuates so much, for example when the mobile is being charged on the PC.
I have the same problem at times, but have not yet found out what other factors influence it. Most of the time I have peace and quiet. Sometimes, however, the bar switches back and forth wildly, which is really annoying.
I had power strips from other manufacturers at work.

I use it in the hobby workshop to automatically turn the hoover off and on. It's great for that.

That's basically two switching thresholds - this will overwhelm such simple logic!
In my experience, the secure-Tec is the best on the market.
Other devices of this kind have caused me many more problems because no switching threshold could be set.
