My Jackery Explorer 240 goes into overload with a 180W AC output. Is this considered normal or a warranty case?

Perhaps you also have reactive power, e.g. 30 W. There are electrical devices that do not consume all the power but, to put it simply, shift it back and forth, i.e. they return 30 W to the mains for fractions of a second and then consume it again fractions of a second later, and this always back and forth. In the end, 200 W is not consumed, but the jackery is loaded as if more than 200 W were consumed.

The best thing to do is to find out what exactly reactive power is, then check whether you have reactive power and how much.

If you are sure you have no reactive power or only a little, then you can try to claim warranty.

I hope you find a good solution!
