I tried the adapter with different smartphones, but it only worked with Samsung. It was developed for Samsung.

Works with Samsung Note 10+: Music Stereo + Micro. However, because of its length, the plug shape puts more strain on the socket than plugs with a short grip zone. I had 2 such plugs that only offered wobbly contact on the USB side after just under a year.

3.5 mm 4-pole? I've never seen anything like that. 3.5mm is actually a pin plug for headphones. Since many smartphones no longer have a 3.5mm input for headphones, this adapter is there.
