Is it possible to replace the battery in this mouse? Unfortunately, my previous "mouse battery" experiences were not that great.

It takes about 2 hours to fully charge the battery. Then you can use it for 24 hours. When the backlight is turned off, the battery lasts 32 hours. The mouse switches off automatically if it is not used for a few minutes, so the battery lasts even longer. (And there is also an on-off switch).

No. The battery itself is fixed and cannot be maintained by the user. Logitech says that a battery lasts about 1,000 charging cycles. Even if you need to charge the mouse twice a week, it would take a decade to reach 1,000 cycles. You will be replacing the mouse long before the battery wears out (which, by the way, is covered under the two-year warranty).

Just made today with a new battery ordered via Aliexpress. The instructions are on youtube, because you have to know where the screws are. > Carefully remove the pads (and the glue with the specs!), and otherwise order new ones on Ali :-) The old battery is also stuck relatively tightly: pull it out very carefully with patience and don't damage anything. I didn't dare experiment when I bought it because there are also batteries with slightly higher voltages and over twice the charge. My battery now has the same voltage and 250mAh more charge. All that remains is to hope that it will keep its promise for a long time, even after several charging cycles.

You can replace this battery. Instructions are available on YouTube under G900 akku tauschen. The battery is also available on the Internet at a relatively low price (about 25 euros).
