Can this device also be used to amplify the aux signals from a smaratphone to the car audio system via the aux socket?
Yes, it works for me too. The sound is much better and you also get more volume out of weak smartphone outputs.
So it works for me. I also use it for audio enhancement if I want to mark up an audio track from a smartphone.
