Can I also use it to trigger an unleashed Olympus and Sony flash?
Olympus flash units can certainly not be triggered with it. And with Sony flashes, only the latest ones with an R in the name.
Sony flash yes - I use it to control several HVL-F60RMs (the FA-WRC1M is from Sony).
