Can it be that this keyboard does not work with older iMacs (Late 2012)....this one works with Bluetooth?

Compatibility with Apple is always something special, as software and hardware are very closely tied.

The only limitation it has is:

Operating system compatibility
Mac OS 10.12.4 or higher, iOS 10.3 or higher

Do the devices have this operating system?
