I've had the headphones for a few days, but I've noticed that the bass is practically only audible on the right, which is quite irritating. Is there a setting that affects this, or is perhaps even the headphones defective? With the bass boost deactivated, the sound fits very well.

Helpful answer

I have owned these headphones for a few weeks now and am completely satisfied with them. The bass (boosted or not) can be heard perfectly on both headphone cups.

Note: The stereo sound reproduces the sounds of the individual instruments spatially.
If the bass is more to the right of the orchestra/band during recording, the sound is also mainly reproduced to the right.

Check your headphones on the basis of different music genres via the tuner, amplifier, via the CD player or record player and determine whether the bass is really always reproduced mainly on the right.
For comparison, also try a pair of mobile phone headphones. If the mobile phone headphones also produce bass mainly on the right, there is something wrong with your amplifier or tuner.
If there are no problems with the mobile phone headphones, something is wrong with the Sennheisser headphone system.
