Question about Ruark Audio R1 Mkiii
It's not clear to me under delivery whether a remote control is included or not and in the manual.pdf it says that a remote control is included. So does it have a remote control and if so, can I use it to turn off the alarm?
No remote control. Exactly, if you connect the alarm clock to the mobile phone, you can change the volume on the mobile phone. Otherwise, e.g. if you want to wake up with the radio, you have to turn off the alarm on the device.
The manual doesn't say anything about a remote control and it doesn't have one. All other Ruark radios have one. The advantage of the R1 without a remote control is that the Bluetooth volume can be controlled equally by the mobile phone or the R1. This means that if I change the volume on the iPhone, the R1 knows it and vice versa. Everything is shown on the R1 display. A great feature that all other Ruark don't have (tried it myself). PS: In sleep mode, the music goes out abruptly - that's a total pain. In alarm mode, the music starts softly with fade-in. I don't know of a better radio...
