Question about HP CR324A
It indicates compatibility with HP officejet pro 8600. I have HP officejet pro 8600 PLUS. Do I think it is ok ?
For technical reasons alone (use of 950/951 cartridges) this should be possible.
Should be safe. The printhead fits all HP printers that use the 950/951(xl) cartridges.
Start-up must be done with the supplied setup cartridges (last about 1/2 as long as "normal"), when they were used up I then inserted the cartridges from my old defective printhead and "used them to the end". i.e. if you have a defective printhead do not throw away cartridges that still have a usable filling level. (Exception: if the cartridge lock was activated on the printer, which prohibits the inserted cartridges from being transferred, this is intended to prevent "cartridge theft" in the office environment).
