Does this mouse also have the Logitech Unifying receiver in it?

No, the mouse has a "Nano receiver". I don't know how much they differ, but in any case it is not the same receiver.
The receiver is a 'nano receiver', but if you already have a Unifying receiver, the mouse can be paired via it!
