Is this product compatible (USB port) with an iMac 2013 10.10.5 Yosemite? Also with a Macbook Air (USB-C port)? Or do you need to buy additional cables and if so, which one?

According to our research, if your Mac and your Macbook have usb-c sockets, then they can be connected to this hard drive without problems.
