Question about Epson EcoTank ET-3850
Is this printer recommended for the following use? - Use sporadically approx. 2x a week - Always on - Connected with LAN cable Factors such as standby power, ink/drying out during longer periods of inactivity are what I have in mind... Maybe we'd prefer a cheap b/w laser printer that we might have to switch off (because of the heating?).
Mine only runs sporadically, once or twice a month, so far no problems with the ink and any drying up. When it is switched on after a long time, it simply cleans the print heads first, which takes a moment but hardly uses any ink.
No problem, no drying out, connection with LAN cable also without problems, runs permanently with me
