Is there still the problem that after a certain time the rubber coating dissolves and becomes sticky? If so, is this included in the warranty?

Well, I've been using the mouse every day for 2 years and none of the coating has come off - and nothing is sticky!

So far about 2 years in I have no problems yet whereas some of my other devices do get these problems. Sorry, I don't have an answer about the warrenty but I would hope that it will be covered. I agree with the other user that regular cleaning with a soft general cleaner is vital.
