Question about Akai Professional MPKmini
Is there any way to use this thing without FL Studio etc. to just play around on it?
What you are looking for is the Akai MPK mini PLAY, which is also a standalone keyboard, not just a controller, and accordingly has an output.
If you are an Apple user, Garage Band works. As someone already mentioned, this is just a controller. The control is done in the DAW software.
No. It is not a synthesizer with sound but a remote control, so to speak. I use it with Ableton
