In various tests, the Onkyo DP X1 has performed slightly better, the battery is also larger in capacity and the connection for conventional headphones also has space for a normal large plug, no annoying bracket that becomes a problem. I was not able to test the balanced connection because the Ultrasone Edition M seems a bit too expensive to me. The price will probably come down over the years. The Onkyo DP X1 unit gives me great pleasure in terms of listening enjoyment. Kind regards heijaeggi
