Question about Skross Socket strip Home Station 5xT13 transverse
Is there a variant that is just as flat, but with the earthing pointing upwards? This would avoid losing the other 2 plugs on a 3-way wall socket. I'm keen to hear any opinions or articles ;-)

Yes, unsightly. I have replaced the plug with an MH type 12 / 3-pin white plug and used a 1 x type 13 clip-clap junction plug with white child protection where necessary.
Unfortunately no and it's true, unfortunately not recommended for a 3-way socket
