Question about Velleman Vertex K8400 (Kit)
Is there a full 2 year warranty on all parts? Do I have to buy the 2 extruders or is it included in the package? Is there a possibility to update a heating plate?
1) Yes, within the scope of proper use.
2) No, the extruder is available as an option.
3) The Bultak plate is included with the machine. The K8400 does not have a heating plate and is not expandable with a heating plate. The Velleman K8200 model has a heating plate.

2. bought the 2nd extruder, in my opinion much too expensive and cumbersome to print with the 2nd extruder (better leave it)
3. it doesn't have a heating plate, but it is possible (with a lot of tinkering) to add a heating plate (Google usually helps) I have added it and find it a great upgrade. The mainboard already has the option of plugging in the sensor, and the software would also be ready to install a heating bed, but Velleman doesn't want to upgrade it =( what a shame.
I've been printing for over a year now and I still think it's great! I've also tested other printers.
