Question about Imperial Dabman i560 CD

Spotify Connect doesn't work and neither does Airplay, so wouldn't it be better to buy an AV receiver? This is a model that also has a stereo amplifier and a DAB+ and FM tuner. The Pioneer receiver supports Spotify. And the device also has 4 HDMI inputs and an HDMI output. Even a record player input is on board (Internet radio, WLAN and network, of course).
