I use the monitor with a Windows and a Mac laptop. Both the mouseover function to the other PC and the exchange of copy/paste of text and/or files work without any problems.
As soon as the monitor is connected, a USB disk is mounted that contains both an .exe for the Windows PC and a Mac application. As soon as both applications are running (either via allowed autostart or by manual start) the SmartKVM functionality works without any problems.
Otherwise, it is also possible to switch between the devices manually via the on-screen menu.

Unfortunately, we did not find any information on this monitor that the KVM works with Mac. The best thing to do is to contact the manufacturer directly with the details of your idea.
