Is the picture of an old PC (or XBox / PS4) in 1080p mode displayed on the whole screen in full screen mode (upscaling) WORSE than on a conventional FullHD (1080p) 43 inch TV?

Helpful answer

No, that's right. 1080p in full screen mode on this device looks horrible! Terribly blurred or with artificial lines of sharpness in images. Absolutely unsuitable for working on a PC.

That is not what is said. That's why I asked. I can also speculate. The thing is that the pixels on a 43-inch 4K screen are only half the size of those on a 43-inch FullHD screen (1080p). That means that if there are shadows and blur, they are also only half as big. So everything should be sharper. In addition, there is also the difference between TV and monitor to consider. I would be happy if someone who has the device could test it...

1080p is 1080p when it is less sharp.
