Question about Marmitek Connect AE14

Is the audio signal output via HDMI and stereo in parallel? I want to supply the TV with sound via HDMI, but tap the sound for another room via the stereo output. Is this possible?

Technically, it works exactly the same way. The sound can then be picked up both via HDMI on the TV and via the small stereo jack output.
It is generally not recommended to run such a stereo cable over many metres because the quality tends to deteriorate with increasing cable length.
However, I have already run it over approx. 5 m and it worked.
