Question about Targus Universal DV4K
Is more than 60hz supported on a 2K screen (2560 x 1440)? No details are given on the manufacturer's website, not even more about 60hz.
It's really good that Digitec has started to add a lot of details about these docking stations in the description.
As it was often not clear how they work exactly.
Well, this one uses Displaylink technology, NOT USB-C DP-Alt mode and NOT Thunderbolt.
So it has a USB graphics card built in, which should be running at 60Hz, due to limitations.
In the Targus download section you can see the drivers. And it is this chip:
