Is it suitable for a video out from a smartphone with desktop mode (Ready For, or DeX), to an external monitor with USB-C video in?

Helpful answer
It does connect for Dex, but is probably too short (22cm) to be suitable. I would recommend at least 1m in length, especially if using a monitor rather than a USB-C tablet.
