Is it possible to use this lens with the Sigma MC-11 adapter on the Sony a7?

Theoretically, yes... But... it will no longer be full-frame.
This lens was made for APS-C... The A7 would crop the image.
For video it would be ideal... then you would have Super 35... you would just have to convert 18-35mm x 1.5
Then you would have a 28-56mm... but for shooting you might still have 10MP
