Is it possible to charge the 2000 Explorer with 1x 200 W and 1x 100 W panel simultaneously instead of 2x 200 W? In terms of connections, that should be possible.

No, this is not possible, or should not be done, because the two DC 8020 inputs are connected in parallel. So only ever connect the same panels with the same voltage (V) and power (watts) and, if possible, the same orientation to the sun. Only the Explorer 1000 Pro and E 1000 Plus have two independently operating MPPT charge controllers. Different solar panels with different voltages can be connected there, e.g. 1x via 12V car on-board supply and 1x 17-60V solar panel. Both inputs with max. 400 watts each.

Yes, that works. 80W and 200W too. You can find enough videos on YT.

According to the operating instructions, no. However, it is pointless to try to charge a 2000 with only 200 to 300 watts. You're at 10 % charge and the sun is already setting again.
