Is it possible to borrow or download books directly from online libraries (e.g. dibiost, onleihe) with this device without having to connect a PC?

I did it from Bibnet.onleihe.ch - so it works. It's just relatively cumbersome because the device is not a laptop and is correspondingly slow. It works via the device's built-in browser, which you use to connect to the library's website just like on the PC, but it's slow to use, it's definitely much faster to do it via the PC.
