Small update, it was indeed possible to correct it later by writing to Pocketbook support and sending the device number. It took about a day, then the device worked as desired with the Onleihe app.
You cannot change the shop, but you can access the website of your favourite bookseller via the integrated browser and purchase eBooks. The PocketBook then accesses your cloud and you can download the eBooks directly.
You can also assign an email address to the PocketBook, to which you can conveniently send your eBooks, or you can synchronise via Dropbox.
Have fun with the product. You can also find more helpful information at ereaderin.com in my blog.

I have not tried that myself. But since the device is very slow, I wouldn't recommend it. It doesn't matter if it stutters when reading, but it does when telepromoting. It's better to use an Android tablet or phablet for this, there are also various apps that have been specially made for this.
Greetings Ewi
I did it from Bibnet.onleihe.ch - so it works. It's just relatively cumbersome because the device is not a laptop and is correspondingly slow. It works via the device's built-in browser, which you use to connect to the library's website just like on the PC, but it's slow to use, it's definitely much faster to do it via the PC.
