is it normal that the volume control no longer has a stop? with my headset, I can turn it to infinity.
yes no stop as it is probably digitally controlled. Depending on the direction of rotation.
Yes it is, no stop
This seems to be effectively the case with this model. The control does not have a stop for either louder or softer.
