I just leave it running for longer, but we mostly drink espresso
We've had it for a long time and are delighted with it
the grinding strength just needs to be tried out a bit

The water volume is not preset. You press to start and stop.

The amount of water is controlled manually, i.e. you can let as much water run through as you want.
