In the picture the plug looks like German or French, is that so? I.e. do I still need an adapter for Swiss sockets?

According to the manufacturer's website, it should be T12/T13, which is a Swiss socket. It is possible that there is only one picture for all variants of this time switch.

I wouldn't use something like this with an adapter. And certainly not with a travel adapter, which is also not permitted. The whole construction is too long and therefore prone to errors.
