Question about Lindy Bidirectional HDCP Converter
In the meantime, has anyone found out whether this converter solves the connection problems of the Sunrise UHD Box with a receiver (e.g. Onkyo)? I can't loop the HDCP 2.2 signal through the receiver, probably because of my old TV. The UHD Box only works if I connect it directly to the TV. However, this is not desirable for various reasons (audio, last input channel change).
We had to change from an old Verte box to the new one from Quickline. We have an Onkyo reciever and a rather old wireless beamer (HD). It could no longer accept the new signal from Quickline with HDCP 2.2. We only had sound and no picture. I connected the converter between the Onkyo and the beamer and it worked again straight away.
