Anycubic Photon M3 Max
I'm really hesitant to buy this 3D printer, but according to other people's experiences, they say it smells strongly of resin and makes a lot of noise. In a fairly large garage (4 cars fit in and a fairly high ceiling) do you think it will smell? Will the noise disturb the neighbours at night? Thank you very much in advance for your opinion or experience.
Good day.
As far as the odour is concerned (also depending on the resin used), this can be remedied by placing the printer in a suitable (possibly heated) box that can be opened at the front and has a hose fitted at the top for the exhaust air to the outside. The plastic cover may no longer be fitted. I use a fan and hose to lead the odour outside. You can see tips on the Internet that small air purifiers with an ELEGOO brand carbon filter reduce the odour, but that doesn't work for me. It is important that the printer and the resin are at 22 to 25° Celsius. The printer runs practically silently, so there are no problems. Cleaning and curing is purely a matter of organisation. Write me an e-mail, so I can send you photos of how I solve this. h.polster@shinternet.ch
