Question about Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi Surround 5.1 Pro
I'm not sure if I understand the part correctly: it is connected to a computer via USB and the sound then goes via jack to an amplifier or directly to the corresponding speakers? Basically, I want to connect it to an Intel NUC, which doesn't have a usable audio interface. Would something like that work?
Have you tried the thing with the Nuc? I have the same problem.
Yes, this is a D/A converter, it converts the digital signals from the computer to analogue which then needs to be amplified.
Finally bought Terratec Aureon Dual USB (USB) - works wonderfully (CHF ~20)
